Our facility has 6,500 square feet of play areas inside and over 7,000 square feet of fenced outdoor play space so your pups will have plenty of room to run, play, learn and explore during their day (outdoor space available at Smithfield). All of our daycare dogs are under constant supervision during their stay by our diligently trained staff. The dogs are put into play groups based on size, energy level, and personality so we can make sure everyone is happy and fulfilled during their time with us. All of our dogs are required to attend and pass an evaluation prior to attending daycare or boarding. We also require all of our pups to be up-to-date on all required vaccines before attending daycare.

A Warm Welcome for First-Timers
At My Lucky Dog, your first visit is where your pup’s Daycare adventure will begin! We’re passionate about creating a loving, positive environment where every pup can thrive. To help your dog start their daycare journey off on the right paw, we take the time to truly get to know them. It’s all about setting them up for success and making sure they feel confident, comfortable, and ready to be their very best self in our pack.
The first step is simple. A member of the My Lucky Dog team will review a detailed questionnaire with you so we can learn all about your dog’s personality, play style, and behaviors. The more we know, the better we can match them with friends and experiences that fit just right. Step two is all about meeting the pack! Your pup will be gradually and safely introduced to their new friends in a slow, controlled way. After their first day, we’ll meet with you to share an update on your pup’s day and go over our Pet Care Specialists’ recommendations to keep your pup happy and thriving.

Requirements:
- Although we love puppies, all dogs must be at least 16 weeks old before attending daycare.
- All dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered.
- All dogs must attend and pass our evaluation prior to attending daycare or boarding.
- We require up-to-date vaccinations at all times which include:
- DHLPP (Distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus)
- Bordetella
- Rabies
