Daycare
At My Lucky Dog we believe in letting dogs be dogs (safely, of course!) All of our daycare dogs are under constant supervision during their day with us by our diligent, well-trained staff. The dogs are put into play groups based on size, energy level, and personality types so we can make sure everyone is happy and fulfilled during their time with us. All of our dogs are required to attend and pass an evaluation prior to attending daycare or boarding, and we require a new evaluation if your dog hasn’t been in more than 6 months. This process ensures we are providing your four-legged loved one with the safest environment possible. We also require all of our pups to be up-to-date on all required vaccines before attending daycare.

Daycare is offered Monday- Friday from 6:30am until 6:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

Although we love puppies, all dogs must be at least 16 weeks old before attending group play daycare.

All female dogs over 9 months old and male dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered.

Exceptions are sometimes made to this rule based on behavior. We understand that many veterinarians recommend waiting until your pup is a bit older to get them spayed or neutered, and we completely respect that. However, if we believe that behaviors caused by being unaltered are negatively affecting the group in any way, we will not allow your dog to come back until after they are fixed, and a new temperament evaluation will be required. ​​

All dogs must attend and pass our temperament evaluation prior to attending daycare or boarding. ​​

We require up-to-date vaccinations at all times which include:

DHLPP (Distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus)

Bordetella (Canine Cough vaccine)

Rabies

Our temperament evaluations are for the safety of all dogs and humans at My Lucky Dog. We hold evaluations Monday through Friday and have morning and afternoon appointments available. During the evaluation you and your pup can tour the facility and ask any questions you may have. Appointments generally last around 30 minutes.
